Danish IEA-IETS participation in Annex XV Excess Heat Task 3
We will participate in the final part of the work with task 3 under annex XV. Task 3 covers advanced methods, operation and risk aspects as well as innovative solutions for excess heat recovery.
The project participants in the annex work will participate in the National support group. A workshop on the annex will be hosted in connection with this.
The project continues Danish participation in Annex XV Industrial Excess Heat Recovery in the International Energy Agency's (IEA) collaboration on industrial energy-related technology and systems IEA IETS (www.ieaindustry.org). The annex is a longstanding annex, which consists of several tasks. We are currently working on task 3 entitled Combination of Methods and Operational Aspects for Industrial Excess Heat – Available Resources, Risk Minimization and Consequences of Future Changes in the Energy System. It runs from 1/11-2019 to 31/10-2021. Denmark has so far participated in the annex under a joint grant for participation in ExCo and annexes under IETS. Therefore, this project will only include participation in the last part of the work under the annex.
