IEA PVPS Task13 - Pålidelighed og ydelse af solcellesystemer

The objective of the project is to ensure that Danish research institutions and companies active in the development, installation, and operation of PV systems, are informed on the technical and commercial developments and research in the areas of Reliability and Performance of Photovoltaic Systems as these topics are being addressed in the IEA PVPS Task 13 Work Plan for 2022 – 2025.

Project description

The purpose of this project is to ensure a continued Danish participation in the international work in IEA PVPS Task13, where work is done with knowledge collection and dissemination of knowledge within the themes "Reliability and Performance" of a number of different solar cell systems.

Task 13 aims at supporting market actors to improve the operation, the reliability and the quality of PV components and systems. Operational data of PV systems in different climate zones compiled within the project will allow conclusions on the reliability and on yield estimations.

The prepared program consists of the following substasks:

ST1: Reliability of novel PV materials, components and modules

ST2: Performance and durability of PV applications

ST3: Techno-economic key performance indicators

ST4: Dissemination and outreach

Webinar and theme meetings

An annual event is planned with dissemination of new knowledge and results from Task 13.

One event will focus on the more technical angle, while another will take up the topics in a broader perspective, whereby knowledge from Task 13 reaches a larger target group.

A final theme meeting will be held where the results of the project will be presented. There will be Danish results and presentation of the international results - including practical information about which reports are available, where it can be downloaded, website, etc. Followed up with press and newsletter.
