EUDP 2023-I Deltagelse i IEA SHC 70 Low carbon, High comfort integrated lighting
The so-called "digital energy revolution" calls for advances in "low carbon technologies" and "digitized solutions.” The foremost aim of all the proposed activities of IEA Task 70, which is the focus of this application, is to address industry demands and computational needs and workflows strictly for low-carbon lighting and fulfilling the lighting services in an LCA / circular economy context.
The project addresses low-carbon lighting technologies and digitized solutions, supporting the "digital energy revolution" in the context of a technology collaboration program by IEA SHC entitled IEA TASK 70: "Low carbon, High comfort integrated lighting." The focus of Task 70 is on general lighting systems for indoor environments and the interrelation of buildings (their facades) with urban settings. The project goals are strictly constrained by energy efficiency and low carbon emission for fulfilling the lighting services in a life cycle analysis (LCA) / circular economy context. The Danish contribution will focus on knowledge exchange in several activities related to the subtasks. The consortium has the distinctive expertise for this task in Denmark. The proposed deliverables will benefit several stakeholders in Denmark, targeting building designers and consultants, industry (façade, electric lighting, and software companies), owners (investors), and authorities. By providing invaluable strategic, technical, and economic information, the networking activities will enable stakeholders to overcome barriers in identifying and implementing low-carbon lighting concepts and installations. The task results will be disseminated through international and national channels, and the technical reports and guidelines will be available.
