Varetagelse af opgaver i forbindelse med Danmarks medlemskab af IEA-OES 2023 (som alternate)
The purpose of the Technology Collaboration Program for Ocean Energy Systems (OES) under the International Energy Agency (IEA) is to exchange information on Ocean Energy Activities in member countries worldwide. To collaborate on activities that increase the development and promote the use of Ocean Energy in the energy mix.
This project concerns support to Kim Nielsen as alternate related to Denmark's membership of the Technology Collaboration Program for Ocean Energy Systems (OES) under the International Energy Agency (IEA) founded by Denmark, the UK and Portugal in 2001. Today 25 countries are members of OES and OES entered its fifth 5-year mandate in 2021.
The project as alternate involves participation in international co-operation, preparation, and presentation of Danish interests to the Executive Committee ExCo. Since COVID the two annual meetings have been replaced by one annual physical EXCO meeting and bi-monthly Webinars on specific topics open to the public to increase dissemination.
Further the project includes participation in the creation of new activities and tasks.
Danish wave energy activities will be presented at selected webinars or selected conferences and a written summary and status prepared for the OES annual report.
