IEA Wind Task 43 Digitalisering fase 2
This project enables Danish participation in phase 2 of the IEA Wind Task on Digitalization which aims at addressing major digitalization challenges the wind industry is facing. The Danish industry will have increased exposure to the latest findings from international research efforts, and the possibility to influence the digitalization agenda and set standards.
The objective of this EUDP project is to enable the Danish participation in the IEA Wind Task on Digitalization, phase 2. IEA Wind Task 43 focuses on finding solutions to the three “Grand Challenges of Digitalization in Wind Energy” recently defined in a paper driven by IEA Wind Task 43 as: (1) Creating findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR) data frameworks; (2) Connecting people and data to foster innovation; (3) Enabling collaboration and competition between organizations. The Danish partners will participate in the Use Case Demonstration on Risk-Based Maintenance and Digital Twins as Decision Support Tools. The participation in this task will facilitate the exposure of the Danish wind sector to the latest research findings and will increase the possibilities for capturing new opportunities enabled by digitalization.
