Tagflader – En uudnyttet kilde til vindenergi
Aeromine is a novel, building integrated windenergy system intended to compete with or supplement industrial rooftop solar PV. The EUDP project will improve the understanding of- and demonstrate how the Aeromine system interacts and performs on buildings.
Aeromine is a novel, building integrated windenergy system intended to compete with or supplement industrial rooftop solar PV. Aeromine has no visible rotating parts and creates no noise or vibrations. This makes them ideal to install in the built environment.
The EUDP project will investigate and verify the performance of the Aeromine wind turbine system by improving the understanding of the Aeromine system with the buildings. Detailed models of wind flows around buildings with Aeromine will be turned into reduced models for use in assessment of the optimal siting of Aeromines on roofs.
While the Aeromine technology is scalable, the deployment needs likewise to be scalable. The project will investigate and develop solutions for a swift and secure installation on different types of constructions that will lower installation costs.
The verification will take place by installing a 10-unit system on DSV's new logistic building in Ringsted. The demonstration project shall document performance and provide input to final design modifications to the Aeromine product.
Project partners are Aeromine Technologies (lead), Danish Technical University and DSV
