Sol-ressource vurdering og -vejrudsigter af høj kvalitet til sol-anlæg
The purpose of this project is to support the sustainable and optimal deployment of solar energy in Denmark and abroad by ensuring the availability and accessibility of high-quality solar resource data. The project is an international collaboration and includes generation and benchmarking of high-quality irradiance datasets, forecasts, and models.
The purpose of this project is to support the sustainable and optimal deployment of solar energy by ensuring the availability and accessibility of high-quality solar resource data, assessment techniques, and forecasts. This will be achieved through international participation and collaboration in the International Energy Agency’s expert task on solar resource assessment (PVPS Task 16), where DTU will lead the dissemination subtask. The project will generate and analyze several high-quality datasets, which will be made freely available, and used to provide recommendations on the usage of ground-measured and satellite-derived irradiance datasets in Denmark. DMI will lead the activity on climate variability, make forecasts, and an updated DRY reference dataset. In short, the project will provide reliable, up-to-date, and unbiased information on how best to assess the resource, through independent benchmarking studies, measurement campaigns, hosting workshops, and developing best practice reports.
