IEA TCP ETSAP Annex XVI
The world is looking into a future where the green transition is gaining momentum both at national level, in cities and at companies around the world. By putting the EML employees' many years of experience into play in the form of model development and analysis based on the ETSAP tools and by sharing knowledge across the ETSAP community, the Energy Modelling Lab can play an important role in combating climate change
The project will continue the Danish participation in IEA-ETSAP. The main activities are participation in global collaborative projects using and improving the ETSAP tools, participation in semi-annual workshops within the ETSAP- community focusing on knowledge-sharing across the globe, training a new generation of modellers through university courses, mentoring and internal training of new employees.
The Danish team in Energy Modelling Lab is deeply involved in the development of the ETSAP tools and policy makers, researchers, and companies can benefit from this in the form of consultancy tasks for other countries and new research projects. The Danish modelling community will, with this project, continue improving its position in the international competition on developing energy modelling tools and their application for policy analysis.
