Development and optimizing of an energy efficient 'straightner' ventilation aggregate with an integrated 'chopper' heat exchanger
It is the purpose of the project to develop and energy efficient 'straightner' ventilation aggregate with an integrated 'chopper' heat exchanger for single-family houses, buildings of flats, offices, schools and child care centres, which is prepared for: 1) A tightening up of the future Building regulations. 2) Increaseing electricity- and heating prices, and 3) Which breaks with the traditional conception of aggregate construction.
More explicitly the purpose is to develop a ventilation aggregate (incl. duct system) at the same market price, as a traditional aggregate, with a SEL factor of approx 1000 [J/m3 and a heat recovery unit with a thermal etavgv of approx 90%. Furhtermore the project will focus on the development of system solutions for duct system integrated in the building with the following objective: Minimal heat loss and low price. The problem of rime frost formation is evaluated in relation to defrosting or preheating of fresh air in ground duct. New proposal, based on variable bypassing of heat exchangers on the intake side in order just to avoid frost formation, is being examined. Analysis of energy savings through different construction designs and control of these - for instance variable flow optimized in relation to humidity and time. Essential effects will be: 1) Attractive energy- and CO2 accounts. 2) Greater guarantee that BR's ventilation demands are met throughout the whole year. 3). A good mixing of the fresh air in the room.
