The purpose of this project is to reduce the total energy consumption in drying and washing processes by using vacuum and steam compression technology.

If the project technology can be used, the energy savings potential will be approx 1783 GWh/year. The project is running over 3 years from 1996-1998. The manufacturer Electrolux-Wascator participates as partner in the project
