AdAmmine - future clean diesel exhaust technology
The project aim at improving the exhaust system for vehicles. The technology should reduce the release of NOx and reduce use of fuel and CO2 release. Vehicles that use this technology can be classified as a Euro 6 and equivalent the American standards.
The AdAmmine technology developed by Amminex has proven to be superior to state-of the-art. The purpose of the project is to qualify Amminex to be the chosen supplier of exhaust NOx emission reductions systems by car manufacturers. Amminex must demonstrate in full scale that process critical technologies needed to produce AdAmmine work under real life conditions. This is the goal of the project. AdAmmine is patented by Amminex and can shortly be described as ammonia stored as a solid matter. Status of the project. Processing equipment for demonstration is being developed to be ready for 1.st. test run in Q3 2011. Facilities for installing the equipment are being prepared for ammonia handling
