ACclaim - solar cell modules from SunSil
We will develop a complete residential PV system for grid connection, all in one 230 V AC, 50 Hz, 270-350 W module, with substantial testing to realize a system with the required performance of more than 95% system efficiency and not least a lifetime of 25+ years. Testing will be based on a peer group of competitive technologies to be tested in open air as well as in accelerated tests. The design and development will include development of suitable test mechanisms and strategies that can be used on customer sites. The novelty of the product implies that it does not conform to existing Type Approval methods/standards. The inverter is prepared for SmartGrid functionality ready for two-way communication to the local grid node. It will be able to communicate the status of the system, data log and do a state estimation. The SunSil panel is a true plug-and-play technology. The initial focus is the residential, grid connected PV market. The customer can see what they buy and the new panel delivers what it promises without the need for additional purchases. Test facilities will be developed, and the cooperation of the testing partners for future services is important for the growing Danish PV sector
