Measurements of total energy consumption in low energy class 1 typehouse
The project plans and builds a newly developed standard house of low-energy class 1 (from project ENS-33031-0089), whose energy performance and indoor climate are documented by detailed measurements. In this way, the project must document the existence of a constructional basis for making low-energy class 1 a requirement in the building regulations as from 2015.
In connection with a recently concluded project (ENS j.nr. 3303 1-0089) a low energy typehouse, that fulfils the demands for low energy class 1 buildings according to the Danish building regulations, have been developed in co-operation with producers of construction products and a typehouse contractor. In order to stimulate the application of the classification possibility and hereby facilitate further energy savings in new buildings, there is a need for documenting the total energy consumption as well as the indoor climate for the typehouse, as well as demonstrating how the energy savings have been achieved, and how they influence architecture, building techniques and economy for the house. The main purpose of the project is therefore to project and build the developed typehouse that, according to BR06 can be classified as a low energy class 1 building, and through detailed measurements of the total energy consumption to document the energy performance of the typehouse. Furthermore, the purpose is to demonstrate how low energy class 1 typehouses can be projected and built. This is especially important in order to make visible the possibilities and start a process where markets for houses with better energy performance than the minimum requirements are created, hereby paving the way for the development of building constructions/products and system solutions that can be the basis for making the low energy class 1 of today the minimum demands of the building regulations in 2015
