The Project is a preliminary study of the possibilities for realization of 'Wind Power Academy' on Lolland. The vision of a Wind Power Academy was made as Energi E2 decided to establish a new park of demonstration wind turbines south of Lolland in Rudbjerg Community.

Results

A number of possibilities for the development op wind power services on Lolland was described in the vision and analyzed in the project. The result of the project is a proposal for a strategy for establishing 'Wind Power Academy' with the follow-ing three head lines: A. Establish a regional technology centre for wind turbines in operation. B. Efforts to place future project activities within off shore turbines in Wind Power Academy. C. Build a experience centre for the public where you experience and learn about wind power/ sustainable Energy. In the strategy it is proposed that the main activities shall be a technology centre for wind turbines in operation and the following activities are proposed: networking, workshop for innovation, conference activities, educa-tion/training, cooperation between partners in future projects
