Heat pumps using vertical bore holes as heat source
In this preliminary project the Danish Technological Institute has mapped the requirements for establishing heat pumps with vertical drillings for heat extration from the ground. The mapping has shown that most places in Denmark have good soil conditions, but implementation requires that the drilling company has the right competences. In a specific project it is important to know about the water table, water flow, the type of the soil and its properties. The preliminary project is being followed up by Elforsk project 343-037, which includes a measuring programme to verify the calculation models in the preliminary project. (Energy 11)
