A + E:3D - digital tool for considering achitectural energy optimisation in architectural design early in the design process design phases for buildings, ver. 1.0

This project covers the first of two phases and it has commenced development of an analysis and design tool. With the conclusion of phase 1, the tool can manage simple building geometries and it has been made available as a beta version of A+E:3D for a number of testers from the architect sector, so that their practical experience can be exploited in phase 2, when Elforsk project 343-049 will develop the tool further in order to enable it to handle more detailed building geometries and provide more complex feedback to the user as regards recommendations and strategies.
