Master class in energy technologies for upper-secondary students
The Master Class project was an educational programme for pupils from Gentofte and Fredensborg-Humlebæk municipalities involving a special course on energy production, on energy technology and on energy savings. Teaching at the Experimentarium in Copenhagen was outside normal school hours and has been a great success for the participating pupils. The pupils discovered that it is acceptable to be interested, and good, at science. In order to exploit this experience more widely at Danish schools, there is a need to train the science teachers who are to be responsible. (Energy 11)
