After the pre-project (338-048) identified a need for standard tools and networks for ESCOs, this project prepared a handbook which uses three standard concepts to show how Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) can been implemented by, for instance, considering risk distribution and financing together. The concept is perfect for energy companies and technology providers alike. As a follow-up to the project, the Danish Energy Industries Federation established an EPC network to strengthen the competencies of Danish ESCOs and thus their international competitiveness and made the handbook available at www.di.dk.
