Based on a scan of existing design tools for energy-efficient buildings and following a number of interactive workshops with the architects’ professional network for energy and the environment, architect students and Digital Construction, requirement specifications were prepared for a simple and dynamic procedure tool. The specifications will result in a web application for modelling and energy optimisation with global application potential, even though it is based on Danish legislation and energy framework calculations. The consultant company Rambøll has shown interest in a partnership to develop the tool.
