Energy experimentarium for school children

In an open, voluntary energy science centre for school children aged 10-15 – Energy X – the pupils from Bakkegårdsskolen in Gentofte Local Authority worked with self-defined projects on PV cells, energy savings and fuel cells. Their acquired ability to take action has changed the energy habits of the participants more effectively than conventional attitude readjustment campaigns. An idea catalogue was published, so that other schools can be inspired, and Experimentarium Science Centre, DONG Energy, Gentofte Local Authority and Danfoss Universe have all developed their communication and educational activities.
