The project compiled and systematised existing knowledge about electricity savings in holiday homes to identify future development areas and strategies for use of means. The project group concluded that holiday homes and their users constitute a very diverse segment, meaning that more widely known means should be applied and, in the long run, the individual segments will be researched to apply more targeted means. At best, such a double-edged strategy will result in relative electricity savings in Danish holiday homes of approx. 3% annually, corresponding to a total of 100 GWh in 2015.
