The barriers so far preventing use of sophisticated, energy-efficient lighting control were analysed and tools developed for selecting optimum system solutions for automatic lighting control in various, common room types. The tools were published as part of an SBi guide which also provides advice on regulating and testing systems and subsequently instructs the users so that the solution will work as intended. The guideline also shows examples of how the system function can be described in tender documents.
