Energy labelling of industrial products - development of method description and demonstration on factory-made chillers

On the basis of the Eurovent database of approx. 5,600 different chillers, the project developed a labelling scheme standard for defining energy efficiency. Cooperation with Eurovent will strengthen the scheme since Eurovent operates with a labelling scheme based on energy efficiency values measured at four operating points. The project group prepared specific proposals for the labelling scheme structure and administration and identified the need for specific Danish additions to Eurovent, eg liquid coolers using natural coolants. The labelling scheme must be Internet-based with a dynamic positive list.
