Sounding board for Ørestad clients

During the project, a team with special competencies in energy efficiency and sustainable buildings sought to influence clients and advisers in Copenhagen’s Ørestad district to improve project energy efficiency. As a result of rather reserved response from a number of clients, the project funding was used to plan a competition on a project for Nordkranen at building site 4D. The winning project from Cubo Architects, COWI and passivhus.dk showed that a building using 30% less energy than energy class 1 can be constructed at the same price as a conventional building.
