The project developed an electricity metering system capable of reading the electrical power load directly from the primary or secondary electricity meter. The electrical power load is shown as a mobile phone display. It was necessary to develop all hardware and related software for the system and resources were therefore not sufficient to study the originally planned user-related functionalities. The system is therefore solely tested on the associated energy consultants. The system proved to be most suitable for identifying no-load operation, e.g. in buildings with single high-energy consuming equipment (such as ventilation and pump equipment ) or production processes.
