Quality light with low energy consumption in day care centers
This project has gathered knowledge about the significance of lighting for the wellbeing of children at daycare facilities, as well as their ability to focus, concentrate and think. The project is a collaboration between lighting experts, child and youth educators, and Hillerød Municipality. The knowledge acquired has been communicated in a user-friendly booklet with advice and examples of how lighting can be designed so that it adapts to the various activities at daycare facilities and how lighting can support these activities to benefit the children's development. The booklet emphasises the significance of daylight for the day-to-day wellbeing of children. (Energy 11)
