Control of the power output from wnd power plants

New command and control mechanisms are to prevent wind power from destabilising the power grid. This is an important prerequisite for meeting the goals of 42 pct. wind share for 2020.
Results
The project will develop and test an integrated battery storage and regulation unit for large wind turbines. This concept is intended to ensure a more balanced supply of wind turbine power for the electricity grid than has been possible using previous methods, and cut the requirements for an alternative electricity production capacity in the electricity system.
