Sustainable production of cement

The project purpose is to develop advanced pro- cess technology that enables industrial produc- tion of environmentally friendly cement of high quality and with low CO2 emissions from locally available raw materials.
Results
By developing new types of reactive Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCM) based on locally available raw materials, and by developing the process technology necessary to increase the content of SCM in cement, the project will help to reduce energy consumption, CO2 emissions and costs related to the cement production.
