Do storage conditions of biofuels affect respiratory problem
The project follows up four previous projects on biofuels and health and safety at work and focuses on: 1. Method development for airborne dust capture to study any health effects of biofuel dust. 2. Health effects of biofuel dust. 3. Storage of biofuel and biofuel dust containing mould fungus, endotoxin, micro organisms and particles. 4. Exposure to bacterial cells and fungal particles. 5. Full-blood assay for determination of inflammation caused by biofuel dust. 6. Characterisation of dust collected at straw storage facility and boiler room.
