Monitoring of tar contents in gases

This project will examine the possibilities of continuous monitoring of tar content in product gas from thermal gasification by means of UV-spectroscopy. This will avoid expensive shut downs and repairs due to too high tar contents in inlet gas to gas engines, tar cracking catalyst, fuel cells and gas to liquid fuel catalysts.
