The project measured switch transients and voltage quality for three different turbine types in three offshore wind farms: Nysted, Horns Rev and Burbo Banks. The project documented voltage conditions at the wind farms in voltage quality reports. Transient model verification by means of measurements proved very difficult due to problems with finding the correct parameters for the components. The results show that simulation cannot be used as the only option in connection with, e.g., isolation coordination. The project studied and compared the IEC 61400-21 summing rules with measurements. It processed large volumes of data that can be used subsequently.
