Given the goals of 50% of electricity production being generated as wind energy and typically from large offshore wind farms in 2025, Denmark needs more exact forecasts - especially forecasts looking five minutes and a few hours ahead. LAWR (Local Area Weather Radar) radars can detect incoming fronts and their movements up to 60 km away.
