Control and regulation of modern distribution system
The project studies two issues in distribution systems 1)Normal Operation Optimization models the load optimal response to electricity price, power system constraint impacts; proposes strategies to treat constraints and minimize the loss; analyzed the relationship between wind power and price, performs optimal bidding for wind power; develops a pricing strategy to minimize the system cost. 2)Control Strategies in Abnormal Operations derives a islanding detection method, proposes control and protection schemes for a varying status power system, develops an optimal load shedding strategy to minimize the damage and inconvenience to consumers.
