Hydrocarbon selective catalytic reduction of NO_x in biomass fired boilers
The purpose of the present project is to synthesize, characterize and test new catalysts for Selective Catalytic Reduction of NOx using hydrocarbons instead of ammonia as reductant, including their resistance to poisoning by alkali metals. The goal of the project is to discover efficient SCR catalysts with long life time in biomass fired boilers.
