The project analysed ash from eight different agro-industrial biomasses. The ash was examined in physical-chemical analyses and in leaching analyses. The aim was to study and evaluate usability of ash as direct agricultural fertiliser or as material for processing as nutrients for commercial fertiliser. The results show that even though the content of nutrients varies greatly from ash type to ash type, their nutrient content makes them all suitable as potential agricultural fertilisers.
