The aim of this project is to develop a highly durable (>5 years) and a significantly more price competitive SOFC technology, and at the same time develop the basis for demonstrating up-scaling from 1 kW residential micro CHP applications to larger (>50 kW) CHP applications working on a multiple of fuels.
Project description

The aim of this project is to develop a highly durable (>5 years) and a significantly more price competitive SOFC technology, and at the same time develop the basis for demonstrating up-scaling from 1 kW residential micro CHP applications to larger (>50 kW) CHP applications working on a multiple of fuels.

Results
- It is believed that sealings are suited for long term operation, maybe even as long as 50000 hours which are needed for commercial CHP systems - A new steel type has been identified which is significantly cheaper and at the same time more resistant towa
