The project aims to develop a business area within the field of small biomass-fired co-generation plants by demonstrating the operation of a 100 kW plant based on Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology. The facility must document electricity production to the market price and show sufficient reliability.
The combined heat and power (CHP) plant is a natural extension of the product line as the company Faust is manufacturing approx. 80 biomass fired hot water boilers annually.
