Danish participation in IEA-SHC Task 44: Systems using solar thermal energy in combination with heat pumps
The main objective is to enable the Danish participation in a newly started project within the framework of the IEA- programme on solar heating and cooling. The title of the new task is Task 44: Systems using solar thermal energy in combination with heat pumps. The work within this new task is dedicated documentation of the performance of combined solar/heat pump systems in theory and practice.

A lot of companies sell those system types without proper socumentation of annual performance, so today it is very difficult to compare the different products in a transparent way.
The results can be used by system developers and customers when they select system layout and control strategies.
