Energy offenders in low-energy building
The idea is to develop a method that makes Be10 a tool that can be used to identify energy offenders i low-energy building and contribute to securering that low-energy building actual performes as low-energy building.
The project aim is to secure that low-energy building actual perfomes as low-energy building by develop new knowledge and methods, that can motivate and make it easier to focus on actually reducing buildings actual energy consumption.
Tools and methods will contribute to Be10 can be used in relation to building actual energy consumption and Be10 do not only has the reputation of being a theorectical tool.
The project wil clarify the causes for the underestimate of the expected energy consumption and identify the areas that need most focus to secure the desired low energy comsumption. The result of the project will be an important tool for prospectively agreement between the calculated and actual energy consumption and not at least to highlight important parameters for the building partners. It is also a goal to visualise which parameters the building owners can influence for minimising the energy consumption after commisioning of the building.
When the mistakes in proportion to the energy efficiency can be related to all phases of the building the tools, guidance and methods individually or as a whole must direct more problems in the buildings phases and be relevant for more significant keyplayers as owners/developer, building owners, project supervisor, performing, operating people tenants and users.
The project will firstly focus on municipal buildings and later the project can be extended to include privately owned office buildings and the private housing stock.
