Tool for analysis of hybrid supply systems for large buildings
The purpose is to develop a tool that can be used to a quick screening and a comparison of possible hybrid systems for larger buildings.
It is the project aim to contribute with the right navigation through the opportunities for building hybrid supply systems related to the increasing application of heat pumps in especially office buildings, insitutions and commercial buildings and hospitals. Hybrid systems are an optimal combination of heating and cooling and utilise the opportunities of storage and use of electricity and heat in a flexible way.
There are over time build some systems that attempt to utilise these advantages but it is often very complex systems and there is a need for analysing the choice of concept. In this process some simple tools are missing and often disregarded energy efficiency opportunities with hybrid systems.
The purpose is to develop a tool that can be used to a quick screening and a comparison of possible hybrid systems for larger buildings.
This project is related and a further development of the PSO project 343-056 'Tool for economical and environmental analyse of hybrid supply system for district cooling and district heating - Fjernkøl 2.0' as a screening tool for larger systems for district heating and cooling suppliers. This tool is adjusted to buildings and is extended with more supply components and for this purpose developed a new interface with focus on heat pumps.
