Sense it

This project main purpose is to reduce buildings energy consumption by using wireless sensor technology. During the project a wireless sensor and data system will be developed and demonstrated and can be used by head of operations, engineers, energy advisors and researchers for control, visualising and optimising the energy consumption and indoor climate in buildings. The system can be used both in short-term investigations of indoor climate and long-term supervision of the operational conditions and energi consumption in new and existing buildings. The system can also be used in buildings with surveillance systems (CTS) due to the system independence of installations and can support with measurement of parameters that normally are not registred. In relation to the many renovation projects that will be initiated in the followering years the system provides the owner good opportunities to check that the product his paid for is delivered, and can for example influence whether or not started up a ESCO-project.

The project main result is a standard measurement tool with 7-8 sensors for control and optimising the building energy consumption and indoor climate.
