Demonstration of REnescience full-scale plant

The purpose of the project is to demonstrate the maturity and commercial readiness of the REnescience technology in full scale as an integrated part of the total waste processing system for municipality solid waste (MSW) for the cities of Kolding, Fredericia, Middelfart and Vejle.

The project is divided into two  project phases each containing different work packages (WPs) of which WPs 1 to 4 must finally determine the supply limits and profitability of the project. Each project phase is finalised with a stop/go decision about the further course of the project.

Based on WP1 & 2 WP3 are prepared and contains among others the preliminary plant budget. The plant concept will form the basis of the preparation of the project business case. Furthermore the structure for the cooperation is laid in this package between the applicants. WP1, 2 and 3 will form the basis for a stop / go decision.

WP4 contains detailed design of the REnescience plant and adjacent systems. A final budget and time schedule will be prepared based on tenders from chosen suppliers and input from the partners. The business case is updated and will form the basis for an FID for construction of the project.
