A market analysis has shown, that there is still no dominant player on the hybrid lighting system market, and CopenHybrid has the potential to obtain this position in 2020 where the market is expected to take-off. CopenHybrid has a competitive advantage on design and technological performance.
A market for the mathematical model has shown to be primarily in short terms at the developers/producers of hybrid lighting systems and as the market grows for the physical systems the main market for CopenHybridMat will be for the purchasers and the advisors herefore, which is potentially much larger market.
Based on the market analysis, and the clear technological way ELFORSK projects 339-50 and 343-021 clearly has shown an application to EUDP on a total budget of 30 million DKK has been realized to develop an optimized Danish-produced hybrid system product to the global market. In September 2014 a proposal to ELFORSK will be realized in order to complete the development of the mathematical model and take it to market.
