Electrically upgraded biogas II
To bring the technology readiness level from 6 to 8 by implementing preventive maintenance on BOP components, optimizing control systems, incorporate a final steam clean up, introduce a more cost effective biological sulfur removal unit using enriched air from the SOEC and operate the demonstration plant for at least 4000 hours including transient operation.
Project description
An existing 10 Nm3/h pipeline biogas upgrading plant based on Solid Oxide Electrolysis and catalytic methanation will be optimized with biological sulfur removal, improved SOEC system and optimized maintenance and control schemes in order to demonstrate 4000 operation hours.
