Straw2Gas
The purpose of the Straw2Gas project in full is to demonstrate the use of straw fibres from the JENA straw treatment plant for the production of biogas, and thereby open for a commercial and technical attractive solution to use straw for biogas production.
This part of the project includes the needed design and financial activities to reach to a final investment decision for both parties; target is July 2019.The project includes conceptual work, design and engineering activities and establishment of final CAPEX for the symbiosis project between the biogas plant in Maabjerg (owned by Vestforsyning, VF) and the JENA fibre pre-treatment facility to be established next to the biogas plant.
The purpose of the project is to create the basis for a final investment decision in July 2019, where after the execution will start.
Following main phases are included:
- Establishment of conceptual design on both sides
- Establishment of Process & Instrumentation diagrams (PID)
- Establishment of lay-out drawings
- Tender and pricing: selection of sub-suppliers and pricing
- Establishing final basis for investment decision, including financing
