GLDK Hydrogen Technology Test Centre
The objective is to establish a GreenLab DK Hydrogen Technology Test Centre that delivers services to industry, infrastructure operators and other players within hydrogen technologies. The test facilities will serve a wide scope and will include materials testing, gas quality analysis, metrology, efficiency, emission and leakage tests.
The objective is to establish a GreenLab DK Hydrogen Technology Test Centre that will deliver services to industry, infrastructure operators and other players within the energy sector who are participating in the development and use of hydrogen technologies. The test facilities will serve a wide scope, from boiler/fuel cells using hydrogen in an industrial application to more integrated plants operating on e.g. PtX. The test facilities will include materials testing, gas quality analysis, metrology, efficiency, emission and leakage tests for hydrogen production, transport, and consumption customers.
Investment will be made towards the expansion and upgrading of existing facilities, so that they will be able to provide hydrogen specific testing conditions. Further investments will include analysis and test equipment. To be able to service all sizes of hydrogen plants, investment will be made towards stationary and mobile test units.
Formation of the test centre will strongly support Danish energy policy for a sustainable future, where hydrogen will play a role in binding together the different energy sectors (power, heat, gas, heavy process industry and liquid transportation fuels). The test centre will be built on the combined knowledge and expertise of servicing the energy and industry sectors within the applicants' organisations.
