EUDP 2023-4 IEA: Dansk IEA-IETS deltagelse i ExCo 2024-2026

The project concerns continued Danish participation in the International Energy Agency's (IEA) collaboration on industrial energy-related technology and systems IEA IETS (www.iea-industry.org). Denmark has a historic position as a leader in industrial energy efficiency and has companies that deliver world-class energy technologies. This position is, among other things, achieved through close collaboration between research and industrial development as well as close contact with the international environment, including through the IEA. With this project, continued collaboration with the other countries in the collaboration is desired. The development of the collaboration will focus on contributing to the continued development of the program by participating in the Executive Committee. The most important activities will focus on cooperation on waste heat utilization, electrification and decarbonisation, digitalisation, sensor technology and regulation, circular economy, modeling and data utilization as well as provision for green conversion of the industry's energy systems. The work will continue to focus on the development of the Danish national support group and communication of the work to Danish companies.
