CanDan UPS and NT Fuel Cell System Development and Pilot Testing. Canadian/Danish Joint Fuel Cell Initiative
Under the Danish-Canadian project, Dantherm Power developed a fully integrated UPS system based on Canadian-based Ballard’s air-cooled LTPEM fuel cells. Eleven UPS units were installed to support EnergiMidt’s broadband grid. H2 Logic developed two fuel cell systems for niche transportation (NT) and installed them in seven special type vehicles. During the project, Vestforsyning opened six hydrogen refuelling stations. The Department of Energy Technology at Aalborg University developed a system to identify fuel cell moistening requirements.

The Department of Energy Technology at Aalborg University developed a Labview-based system to identify fuel cell moistening requirements by way of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. Cooperation continues on second-generation FC systems under ENS 33033-0333.
