Benchmarking test, standardization and coordination of electrolysis projects

For the Danish projects within electrolysis initiated under EUDP 11 - I (Hyprovide), the purpose is to
develop common standards, testsprocedures and to develope a common ground for benchmarking.
Efficient technological development will be ensured by coordination between the Danish stakeholders
within electrolysis and unnessary working procedures shall be avoided.

This project has identified parameters in the line between electrolysis producers and system integrators/ end users where there have been either non existing standards or test protocols or where the existing standards have not been adjusted to fit the exact formulation to be useful in reality.
Results

The project has held experience-exchange-meetings between component developers, system integrators and manufacturers, which have led to the understanding and development of technology.

As a part of the project there has been held workshops in which a broad range of national and international stakeholders participated and the project results have been presented.

The project has formed an overview of what standards exist in this area and where there is need for further action, namely: draft industry standards, list of standards and requirements for electrolysis and perspective.

Project partners have in dialogue with other electrolysis manufacturers, customers, etc. prepared a benchmarking parameter list, which makes it visible which areas that needs continued focus on.
