Solutions for optimal climate in super low energy houses - we have to do it right this time!
It seems from experiences, that too often there are problems with indoor thermal comfort and energy consumption of existing low energy houses,. These are problems that must be solved at latest by the BR requirements for super low-energy houses in 2015 and 2020.
The aim of the project is to analyze experienced problems for Danish super low energy houses with respect to insufficient heating in winter, overheating in summer and higher energy use than expected. From the analyses it is the aim to develop solutions and to present them in design manuals.
The project has gone through extensive reporting material from performed low-energy houses and from these developed an internal problem catalog.
From the problem directory is then prepared a solution catalog (the final report) with the project teams directions on how those issues are addressed in relation to avoid problems.
Some of these directions is obtained by analysis of design practice in conjunction with detailed building simulations.
